Right then. That is all we have from this game. We have two games coming our way on 11th December now. Sydney Sixers will face Hobart Hurricanes in the first clash to be played in Sydney. The action for that game will begin at 6:35 pm local (7:35 am GMT). The second clash of the day will be in Perth between Perth Scorchers and Adelaide Strikers. It will begin at 6:30 pm local (10:30 am GMT). See you there!
Nick Larkin is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH! Larkin says that it was very nervy but the bowlers held their nerves. Adds that even their best fielders put down catches and mentions that Zampa wanted to bowl and was confident. Adds that he is happy with his knock tonight and the win is a huge one. Mentions that they would want to play like this on a consistent basis and they are pumped with the win.
But as the game went on, the batters struggled to get the boundaries and Sam Billings fell while looking to up the ante. But Sydney Thunder had the Power Surge up their sleeve and they took in the 18th over. Matthew Gilkes fell in that over but Alex Ross and Ben Cutting got the boundaries to get them closer to the target. With only 11 needed in the last over, it looked like these two power-hitters will take Thunder over the line but Zampa had other plans. He bowled a sensational final over and held his nerves to see his team over the line by a whisker!
Sydney Thunder did not have the best of starts with the bat. Adam Zampa sent back Alex Hales and Nathan Coulter-Nile sent back Sam Whiteman to seize the first phase of the chase. But a brilliant stand between Sam Billings and Matthew Gilkes brought Thunder back in the game and it looked like these two would get them over the line.
TAKE A BOW, ADAM ZAMPA! What a final over by him. It looked like Sydney Thunder would get over the line in the last over but the leggie has done some magic out there. A nail-biting finish and Melbourne Stars get off the mark!

That's it, Adam Zampa has done it! Zampa holds his nerves and tosses it outside off. Ben Cutting makes room and the ball is just out of his reach. Cutting swings hard but misses. MELBOURNE STARS WIN BY 4 RUNS!

Dropped! It's all happening out there! Short again, on off. Alex Ross hangs back and flat-bats it straight to Glenn Maxwell at long on who spills it. They get the single. 4 to tie and a six will do it for the Thunder.

On a length and fired into leg stump. Ben Cutting tucks it towards deep mid-wicket and calls for two straightaway. The fielder however is really quick and keeps it to just a single. 6 needed off 2 balls!

FOUR! Right in the slot from Andre Russell. Ben Cutting moves across the off side and stays deep in his crease. Cutting then whips it helicopter-like and gets the boundary through mid-wicket.
