Earlier in the game, after opting to field first. Southern Brave Women bowlers did really well to justify their skipper's decision. They were under control for most part of the game but the bowlers lost their rhythm and leaked a few extra runs in the death. That might've costed them the game here. During the chase, Southern Brave Women could not keep up with the pressure and recorded their first loss of the season.
Northern Superchargers Women started brilliantly just what they needed. The bowlers did really well to give their side the upper hand in this final fixture with lot on stake. Northern Superchargers Women had to restrict Southern Brave Women under 99 runs and at one stage it looked like they will pull it off but some hard-hitting from Amanda-Jade Wellington spilled water on their hopes of qualifying. All the bowlers got into the wicket's column with Katie Levick standing out with her economical spell.
Southern Brave Women failed to turn up when it needed the most! They had to chase down the stiff target to get themselves directly into the finals but they could not do it under pressure. They were off to a sloppy start and not what they had envisioned. They lost three wickets inside the Powerplay and were on the back foot from the word go. Sophia Dunkley held one end nicely but found it difficult to find some support from the other end. Southern Brave Women kept losing wickets at regular intervals and that took the game away from them.
Northern Superchargers Women gave it their all in the final game of the season. They were in with a chance to qualify for the playoffs but Southern Brave Women managed to get over the 99-run mark and shattered the dreams of the hosts. Nonetheless, Northern Superchargers Women have managed to end their campaign on a high.

OUT! CAUGHT! Gone this time! On a length, on middle. Bell tries to power it away over long on. However, she does not get enough power behind this shot and ends up hitting it straight to Heather Graham at long on. She makes no mistake and takes it comfortably. Northern Superchargers Women would be very happy with their overall effort in this game.

Ohh..dropped! A fullish delivery on off. Anya Shrubsole goes for a big hit down the ground. However, she does not get the middle of her blade and the ball goes in the air towards long off. It, however, falls just short of the long off fielder but it will go down as a drop catch. It could have been taken with better judgement.
