That is it then from this game. What a match we witnessed! CSA action continues on Monday and there are two games yet again. The action begins at 1330 IST (0800 GMT) where Titans take on Dolphins in the first game. The build up starts a lot earlier. Do join us for it. Till then, take care and goodbye!
Pieter Malan, the skipper of Rocks, says that they didn't play their best cricket but will take this win. Tells that they batted really well but the dropped catches could have cost them. Mentions that they will need to improve on their fielding. Says they are hopeful that they click at the business end of the tournament.
Ferisco Adams is the BOWLER OF THE MATCH. He says that he just looks to keep things simple and backs himself when he is bowling. Adds that they were confident of defending somewhere around 10 runs in the last over and they are happy to get over the line.
Dwaine Pretorius is the BATTER OF THE MATCH. He says that he loved his time out in the middle but is gutted that they didn't get over the line. Tells that he learnt a lot of things from this game and will make sure that they end up on the right side of the result.
... THE PRESENTATION ...
There too it was Ferisco Adams who was given the ball, he went for a biggie on the first but then came back strongly to take two wickets in the next two balls. Rocks needed just the 7 and it took Janneman Malan only three balls to end the game.
What a game of cricket this was though! After Pieter Malan's fifty and Christiaan Jonker cameo, Rocks got themselves to over 180. In reply, Wesley Marshall got his team off to a flier but once he fell, the runs did not come that easily and by the 10th over, the Dragons had lost three. However, Delano Potgieter and Dwaine Pretorius notched up a 100-run stand and took their team back on top. Yes, they had luck on their side but take nothing away from the way the two played. They got it down to just the 9 needed in the last over. The Rocks gave the responsibility of defending 9 to Ferisco Adams and he bowled brilliantly. From a losing situation he took his side into a winning one, the Dragons needed 5 on the last ball which was struck for a boundary and the game went into a Super Over, first of this season.
Finally, the Rocks manage to get over the line. They bag their first win of the tournament and it comes in a Super Over. We believe, had they held onto their catches, they would have won it quite easily earlier on but the important thing is, they have got their campaign underway.

FOUR! Cheeky from Janneman Malan and he takes his side over the line! Whooaa, what a thriller this has been! Duan Jansen serves a low full toss, around off. Janneman Malan gets low and just reverse-paddles it past the fielder at short third man. The ball races away to the fence. Rocks win the Super Over!

Back of a length, around off. Janneman Malan looks to nudge it on the leg side but he misses and gets hit on his body. A precious dot ball for North West Dragons.

FOUR! EDGY! Full and wide, outside off. Janneman Malan looks to drive hard but it takes the thick outside edge and goes to the right of the keeper. The ball races away to the third man fence. Just what Rocks would have wanted!
For the Dragons, it seems like Duan Jansen is going to be bowling, he is the one rolling his arm over. Who will be the two batters for the Rocks. Janneman Malan is one of them and Clyde Fortuin is the other one. Here we go...
What three balls from Ferisco Adams! If Rocks win this, he is solely responsible. He got whacked for a biggie on the very first ball but then gets a brilliant run out and on the third ball, gets Delano. Now Adams has done his job and Rocks are surely favourites to win this one.

OUT! And they get it on the very next ball! Rocks need just 7! Adams, does it yet again, what a bowler. A full one, a full toss actually. Delano Potgieter swings, he does not get it off the middle and Malan takes a good catch at long off.
Wesley Marshall walks out to bat.

OUT! RUN OUT! That is exceptional stuff from Ferisco Adams! Brilliant! On middle, this is slammed back towards the bowler. Adams gets hold of it and then turns and hits the stumps at his end. Dwaine Pretorius is well short as he was backing up a long way. One wicket is what Rocks need now.

SIX! That has gone a long way! Adams misses his mark and goes the distance! A full toss outside off, Delano shows brute strength as he drags it over the mid-wicket fence for a big one.
Now, then, it is the Dragons who will be batting first now. It has to be the two who were batting to continue. We will have to wait to see though. Yes, it is the two who will bat and it is going to be Ferisco Adams who is going to bowl. Here we go...
The game then has been tied! Can Dwaine Pretorius hit a boundary was the question and he indeed does! What a game, what a brilliant game this was. One to remember. It seemed done and dusted when Dragons lost Nicky van den Bergh. However, Delano Potgieter and Dwaine Pretorius put up a wonderful stand of over 100, they took their side into a winning position but in the end, have managed to tie and take it into a super over. Also, excellent from Ferisco Adams, he had just the 9 to defend with two batters who were really hitting it big and he does so.
