That is it from this game then! BBL action continues on Monday as Hobart will be taking on Adelaide. Both sides are in a need of a win and that game promises to be a cracker. The action begins at 1345 IST (0815 GMT). The build-up begins a lot earlier. Do join us for it. Till then, goodbye and take care!
MAN OF THE MATCH has been given to Josh Brown for his fireworks at the top of the order.
Over 400 runs were scored in this game! First it was Heat who after electing to bat smashed the ball all around the park. Brown scored a fifty in no time and Nathan McSweeney played with a lot of responsibilty. In reply, Sixers put on a real fight but fell short in the end.
The key for Heat was, everytime the game seemed to be drifting away, they managed to take a wicket. The likes of Michael Neser and Matthew Kuhnemann were brilliant. Yes, Michael Neser did go for a few but got important wickets. James Bazley and Mark Steketee though had a day to forget. Both were taken to the cleaners but the others bowled well enough to ensure it was not a record chase.
What a game! A run feast! In the end, it is Heat who come out on top in front of their fans and in a must-win game. Have to say, there were times when 225 seemed like will not be enough. Especially at the start when Josh Philippe and Vince were going great guns. However, the problem with the Sixers was, their top order batters just could not make the most of the start. They were down and out though at one time when they lost Dan Christian but Jordan Silk along with Hayden Kerr batted brilliantly to revive the hopes but a brilliant catch by Michael Neser to dismiss Jordan Silk killed the game.

OUT! TAKEN! That is a top, top last over! 2 runs and the two wickets. A full one on off, Izharulhaq Naveed looks to go over mid off. He mistimes it and it goes up in the air. Long off takes a really good catch running in. HEAT WIN BY 15 RUNS!

OUT! TAKEN! That is a clean catch! That is absolutely brilliant from Michael Neser and he has probably won the game for his side. Jordan Silk was the big wicket and he has taken a blinder of a catch to dismiss him. This is full and outside off, Jordan Silk slams it towards the left of long off. Michael Neser runs there, he leaps and stretches both his hands up, takes the catch but realises he is going over the ropes. He looks to lob it up but lobs it over the fence. He though runs leaps again, takes it and then lobs it back into play, jumps out and takes it. It is taken upstairs and replays show that it is clean as a whistle. Massive moment in the game.
Is that out? If it is, Michael Neser has done brilliantly. It is taken upstairs.
