Rovman Powell says their bowling was good but could have done well in the death overs. Adds he was not thinking much and gave Nyeem Young the last over as he was bowling well. Shares it was a good wicket to bat so the first six overs are very important. Reckons he was clear with his approach with the bat, he aimed some specific bowlers. Tells St Kitts and Nevis Patriots have a good team and takes a lot of thinking while playing them.
Sherfane Rutherford represents St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, he says Evin Lewis has hurt his finger. Adds they didn't execute well with the ball and even their fielding wasn't the best. Reckons they were 20-25 runs short but still the bowlers need to do much better. Shares they need to use more variation with the ball.
Qais Ahmad is the Player of the Match. He says the team staff told him he is the main bowler of the team and he is trying his best to lead the department. Adds the conditions are perfect for batting but he sticks with his basic to get wickets. Reckons he is very happy to win the game.
....Presentation next...
St Kitts and Nevis Patriots will be disappointed. They might have relaxed a bit and it was seen in their fielding. Maybe Evin Lewis could have shuffled his bowlers in a different way. Still, it is expected to defend such a score but it was utter disappointment for them with the ball. Earlier, they batted well, Andre Fletcher at the start and then Drakes and Bosch at the back end. Not enough though for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots as they were taken to cleaners.
Such a big chase required an excellent start and it was produced by Rahkeem Cornwall and Kyle Mayers who played brilliantly in the Powerplay and scored around 70 runs. That just laid the perfect foundation for the other batters to keep the intent going and keep the situation under control. Holder and Alick Athanaze played well but it was the captain who led from the front, Rovman Powell was just in too much hurry to chase it down. Powell was in beast mode as he helped his team chase such a mammoth score with ease.
A target of around 200 is big enough? Not for Barbados Royals as they have made a mockery of it. Who would have thought at the halfway mark that Barbados Royals will chase it with more than an over to spare? Just brilliant from Barbados Royals.

SIX! FLAT! Short in length and on off. Powell pulls it flat and to deep mid-wicket where the fielder tries his best but Powell produced too much power behind it. Also, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots have been penalized for overrate.
