Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals will start off WPL 2024 on February 23.

The second season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL 2024) will start in Bengaluru on February 23 with a match between last year’s finals, the Mumbai Indians and the Delhi Capitals, at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The game is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.

According to the BCCI‘s WPL 2024 schedule, the second match will be between Royal Challengers Bangalore and UP Warriorz. The final will take held on March 17, after an elimination game on March 15. Both games will be held in Delhi.

As previously reported on this page, the five-team, 22-game caravan concept would be contested at only two venues: Bengaluru and Delhi, with the former hosting up to 11 games. The rest, needless to say, will be played in Delhi.

The Bengaluru leg will end on March 4, and the WPL will then shift to the National Capital, where the tournament will begin the following day. There will be no doubleheaders for the 24-day second season, and all games will begin at 7:30 p.m.
