Dolphins beat Warriors by 20 runs

Right then! That is all we have from this match but there is another match soon to begin in the CSA T20 Challenge. Knights take on Titans in that match and you can catch all the live action by switching tabs. Hope you enjoyed the coverage of this game. Cheers!
The winning skipper, Prenelan Subrayen says that the good base laid in the Powerplay helps. He adds that the margin of error in the T20 cricket is minimal and they want to keep improving. They need to learn from this game and it is a work in progress.
Ottniel Baartman is the BOWLER OF THE MATCH! Baartman says that they bowled well and after the Powerplay, the batting side was on top and it was just about keeping your composure. He adds that Stubbs batted brilliantly today and they are happy to get over the line.
Tristan Stubbs is the BATTER OF THE MATCH! Stubbs says that it is a disappointing loss but he says he is happy to hit few out of the park. He adds that Dolphins got 75 in the last five and they had an outside chance to even better them but it didn’t come off
Dolphins had the perfect start with the ball and the match seemed well over in the Powerplay itself. But in the middle overs, the bowlers bowled with a lot less control and the likes of Andile Phehlukwayo, Thando Ntini and others were hammered to all parts of the ground. Daryn Dupavillon who got two wickets early on was smoked by the opposition batters in his later spell and 56 runs in 4 overs. Ruan de Swardt to was expensive but it was the skipper, Prenelan Subrayen who did the job in the first ten overs by keeping things tight. Ottniel Baartman bowled exceptionally throughout the innings and was miserly. He even stopped the free-flowing Tristan Stubbs in the final over and conceded just 8 runs. Dolphins managed to win but it wasn't easy.
When a team is chasing down a target in excess of 200, they need the top three to fire and that did not happen as the leading run-scorer in the tournament, Wihan Lubbe was knocked over early and his partner, Matthew Breetzke soon followed. After losing a third wicket inside the Powerplay, it was JJ Smuts who led the fightback and along with Rosier and put on a 50-plus stand. Both of them then fell in the same over and with the Warriors hope of winning the match seemed to end as well. With 132 runs required in 10 overs, it seemed like an improbable task. The skipper, Sinethemba Qeshile gave ample support to Tristan Stubbs who slowly got in the groove and went on to smash 80 runs off just 31 balls but he had just way too much to do on his own and it wasn't enough.
Well, the result of this match seemed like a foregone conclusion but Tristan Stubbs has definitely put on a show today. Even though it wasn't enough, Stubbs made the opposition really really scared in the end. In the end, it was an exceptional final over and an exceptional spell overall from Ottniel Baartman that saw the Dolphins home.
